It’s been almost 5 years since I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome couple! They only had Max, the oldest young man, when they were married at Pine Rose Cabins.

They happened to be up in Lake Arrowhead this past weekend and I was SO happy to get to see them and their family!! How precious is this family!! They are all so sweet and so cute!! And they were willing to drive to this gorgeous location!!

Plur Life Ministries {Event photographer high desert}

Plur is typically associated with the rave industry. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect is what it stands for. There is an entire rave culture that comes about when a rave comes to town. They trade Kandi’s {bracelets}, they dress up in costume and head out looking for an awesome experience. What ever your take on the rave culture is, there is no denying that there are some that go to raves to have a good time, but leave lost, high and vulnerable.

Plur Life Ministries is a group of moms, dads and young adults who have a heart for these kids, {I call them kids, but they are actually young adults} who go to these raves expecting peace, love, unity and respect but end up leaving with no sense of where they are, dehydrated because they did not have enough money to purchase water inside and no idea where their friends are to help them get back to the hotel which they are walking to, blocks away, at 3am in the morning.

What can Plur do for the young adults who are in need of help? They provide waters, they provided rides to hotels, they walk with the kids to locate their cars and or their friends, they provide blankets for them when they are freezing coming down from their high and they pray for them. They pray with them. They pour out the love of Jesus on them and tell them how valuable they are and how loved they are. They don’t preach to them, but when they are asked why they are so nice, they share God’s love with them. They also give them Kandi. Those bracelets I was telling you about, which are handmade by volunteers who pray over them and over them and over them. The rave moms hand each and everyone they come across Kandi that says plurway.com on it so they can find the website and find answers the next day or a week later.

Well, Plur Life Ministry, as I said is all volunteers, also has something called Camp 33. And it’s FREE for the campers to attend! They invite kids to come spend the weekend with them. They have an awesome feast, have a great time on the lake, visit an old mine, go off roading in the jeeps, camp under the stars and roast marshmallows to their liking. Click on the link to find out more information, really, it’s awesome!!

I had the honor of hanging out with these amazing group of volunteers last Saturday taking pictures of what they do and how awesome an experience Camp 33 is. This is a camp where they don’t expect the attendees to believe what they believe, to become a christian or to join their church, they only ask that the campers come excited for a weekend they will never forget and be open to hear what they have to say.

Auto Body Shop {Running Springs Photographer}

In the “industrial” part of our little town of Running Springs is a very cool auto body shop. Showtime Collision Repair Center works on all types of cars. Whether your car has a crack in the windshield or it’s been side swiped, they will get you back on the road.

They have been in business since 1986 here in Running Springs, it’s family owned and operated by three generations! I had the pleasure of meeting each of the families and they are really great people! Very kind, very knowledgeable and you can tell they love and enjoy what they do!photographer in running springs

The weather was gorgeous and the bride was stunning! It was a pleasure to witness this sweet couple say I do under the pine trees at San Moritz Lodge. I wish these two nothing but the best!

Do you see her dress? It’s beautiful!! Her mom made it!! Yes, her mom! What a responsibility to make a wedding dress! It fit her so well and how awesome to say, my mom made my dress! And her mom has only made 2 wedding dresses…EVER! I was so impressed! I have made pajamas and that is hard enough!!

Rainbow Cake Smash {Big Bear Photographer}

Oh. My. GOSH! How precious are these two?!

I am a photographer for Red Thread Session. It’s a foundation with photographers who love the adoption stories and who want to help the family celebrate the beauty of adoption. Each photographer has their own pricing and things, but basically, the session fee for their first family session is waved after the adoption. I have only photographed a hand full of these sessions, but I love them! This family used me for their Red Thread Session when the babies were just weeks old. So I have to be honest, I have never, NEVER photographed twins. I have often thought I wanted to, but then I read other photographers stories and mishaps and thought…maybe now. But when this sweet family asked me to do the cake smash, I was so excited! I was nervous, but so excited for this day to come!

These little ones are rainbow babies. {A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth.} This amazing family adopted embryos, had them implanted and carried them to term. They were elated each time they knew the babies were doing well, each time they heard the heart beats, each day as they got closer to the due date. The day finally came {a little early} and they were blessed with two little sweethearts.

As you can see, they are doing well and they turn One today! Happy Birthday sweet babies!!

Beautiful Family {Running Springs Family Photographer}

This is a sweet family! The last time we did their family pictures was about 2 years ago, I was so happy to hear from them this year! They have so much fun together and are always laughing!

While we finished up doing pictures, the dad turned to me and said “you capture and make memories but you also bring memories back.” How sweet! You see last time I did their family pictures, grandma was also in the pictures. She was not with us this time, but the memories we made 2 years ago doing their family pictures, were brought back while doing these.
